Here's a PDF of my first graphic novel, Halo: an Angel's Story. I felt really bad about it for a very long time; not because of the work itself, but all kinds of other nonsense that came with it, particularly the huge runaround I got from the movie studio people who came sniffing around.
But I've come to a newfound sense of accomplishment and appreciation about it all.
Kevin Smith was a big fan of the book and he hooked me up with his people to help get a screenplay together, and they were all great. It was an interesting experience because Kevin was in preproduction on Dogma, and dailies from Good Will Hunting were coming into his offices. So I got a chance to see an Oscar-winning film unfold, which was rather cool.
